Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In dieser Übung sollen Studierende sich einen Überblick zu den geläufigsten Fragen und Methoden der qualitativen Sozialforschung und ihren praktischen Konsequenzen erarbeiten. Neben methodischen Toolkits (Zugang, Erhebung und Auswertung) werden theoretische und ethische Herausforderungen, denen wir in der Forschungspraxis begegnen, reflexiv thematisiert. Anhand konkreter Anwendungsbeispiele soll der kritische Umgang mit den eigenen Möglichkeiten erprobt und für das eigene interaktive Handeln sensibilisiert werden.
Assessment and permitted materials
Under home-learning conditions during this semester, please communicate to me via e-mail before our first session in case you will not participate! This way, your place can be taken by somebody on the waiting list and they will be informed in time despite our course taking place online.Active participation (methods will be communicated via Moodle); research exercise in small groups (to be formed via Moodle); short presentation for the entire group (PPT + handout via Moodle); 2 homework exercises + writing a research diary; term paper (structured homework + 2 pages of reflection).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Active participation, research in small groups, submission of homework, 1 presentation/input and 1 term paper are compulsory.
