Aims, contents and method of the course

In this course we will be reading and discussing classical vs. post/anticolonial and feminist economics texts related to 11 topics of interest to development economics

individual
family
population and biopolitics
consumption
capabilities
efficiency
anarchism and utopia
colonies
commons
neoliberalism

Assessment and permitted materials

Group and individual presentations.
With a focus on common interaction of the course participants, working together in small groups in real life or online.
Final course paper.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Participants must do a presentation, homework assignments and a final paper.
