Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The interdisciplinary lectures series „Introduction to Latin American Studies with Focus on Intersectionality and Natural Resources" deals with intersectional inequalities, but also privileges in Latin America, in relation to disputes about natural resources. Overlapping differentiated characteristics like age, gender, social and ethnic background, class, etc. define the access to, control over and recognition as well as the destruction of natural resources. Since the conquest, Latin America is marked by conflicts about land, water and other natural resources. In the lecture's series, we will address these aspects by different perspectives from different disciplines.

Der zusätzliche ECTS Ergänzungspunkt wird nach Absolvierung der LV und Leistung der Mehrarbeit für KSA Studierende im Büro IE eingetragen.Für eine positive Beurteilung müssen 16 von 32 Punkten erreicht werden.
