Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Anmeldung zu dieser Lehrveranstaltung VORAUSSETZT, dass das Modul PM1 Zentrale Themen und Fragestellungen vollständig positiv abgeschlossen ist.

Die Betreuungswerkstatt setzt voraus, dass die LV-Leitung auch die Betreuungsperson für die MA-Arbeit ist und im SoSe 2025 das MA-Seminar bei ihr absolviert wird. Daher ist eine Anmeldung nur über die LV-Leitung möglich, bitte senden Sie eine Mail mit Vorstellung Ihres MA-Arbeitsthema direkt an die LV-Leitung.

Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The proposal workshop provides a collective discussion and working space in which the topic and question of the Master's thesis are developed together and preparatory considerations on material and procedure are made, as well as feedback is given by the supervisor and all participants. The aim is to develop a proposal for the master's thesis and/or to start implementing it.
Depending on the wishes and needs of the participants, the course includes input on working techniques, methods and project organisation, as well as an exchange on research methods and problems in planning and implementing the Master's thesis.
Admission only after consultation with the course leader: Stefan Vater (stefan.vater@univie.ac.at). Supervision is planned for one year (after the proposal workshop in the master's seminar) until completion of the master's thesis.

Assessment and permitted materials

Participation in the discussion, collaboration, prepared smaller contributions to the discussion, a presentation of the concept of the Master's thesis as well as a written proposal.
