Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The master course will be organised in cooperation with students in order to fit topical as well as methodological interests and needs of students who plan or already write their master thesis.
Regular and active attendance. Writing of a text (depending on the state of the master thesis: research design, a chapter of the master thesis etc.)
Aim is to prepare, accompany and to guide the development and writing of a master thesis concerning methodological, theoretical and topical issues.
Presentation and discussion of (parts of) theses planned.

Assessment and permitted materials

Achievements observed: Regular, active participation, writing a text (according to the state of the master thesis: research design, a chapter of the thesis etc.)
Permissible resources: brain (reasoning), organs of speech (speaking), literature in all forms feasible (reading), computer (writing) and others as far as they are ethically and scientifically acceptable.
Deadline for final paper: 30.09.2020

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum achievements: 51% positive performance in each of the areas cited below
Criteria of assessment: Activities in class: 30%, presentation: 30%, final paper: 40% (Deadline: 30.09.2020)

Examination topics

This is a course with current assessment, listing the topics of assessment is not feasible for a master seminar and not reasonable.
