Aims, contents and method of the course

Auseinandersetzung mit grundlegenden Perspektiven und theoretischen Positionen der Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie sowie mit Institutionen, Forschungsbereichen und Handlungsfeldern des Faches.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Der erste Teil der VO vermittelt Kenntnisse zur besseren Orientierung im neuen Lernumfeld am Studienbeginn. Vorgestellt werden das Institut sowie Forschungsbereiche und Praxisfelder der Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie. Der zweite Teil der VO widmet sich begrifflichen, theoretischen und methodischen Grundkompetenzen.

Examination topics

Vortrag, Gruppendiskussionen, gezielte Inputs durch Gäste, die unterschiedliche Aspekte und Anwendungsbereiche des Faches beleuchten
