Assessment and permitted materials

written exam (1st examination date is expected to be in the 16th calender week):
subjects presented in the lecture and compulsory reading, duration 90 min., Questions with diverse degrees of complexity, for a positive exam more than 50% of the questions have to be answered correctly – for an average grade about 75%

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Survey on ethnic and religous groups, stereotypisation and mechanisms of exclusion
Languages and language policy, with a focus on the (non)recognized minorities in the EU
History of migration movements in the 18th and 19th century
National, ethnic and religious conflicts in the 20th century
Economies with a focus on tourism
Discrimination and exclusion of peripatetic groups
Border studies
Diversity management – examples from particular European countries
