Aims, contents and method of the course
Based on anthropological literature, in particular case studies, from Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia etc. the above mentioned topics should be analysed

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
This seminar aims to highlight the enormous complexity of the Turko-Persian World. Referring to issues such as kinship, family and gender, religion, economies, local, national and regional identities and many other aspects this divergence should be studied.
Examination topics
English will be used as a means of communication.
