The course can only be taken together with PR 240502 (10 ECTS) and you need to register for both courses.

Participation at first session is obligatory!

The lecturer can invite students to a grade-relevant discussion about partial achievements. Partial achievements that are obtained by fraud or plagiarized result in the non-evaluation of the course (entry 'X' in certificate). The plagiarism software 'Turnitin' will be used for courses with continuous assessment.

If possible, the course is to be conducted in presence. Due to the respective applicable distance regulations and other measures, adjustments may be made.

Update 24.09.2021: The PR will take place in Austria and two additional meetings will take place on October 27th and 28th.

Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The Seminar will focus on Expert and Narrative Interviews and their audio-visual documentation; i.e. discuss, experiment within peer group and actually conduct interviews using audio-visual documentation methods. It will include ethical considerations and extended informed consent practices based on discourse ethics rather than bureaucratic processes. Participation in field practice is mandatory.

Assessment and permitted materials

Transcripts of 3-5 interviews (last paper to be handed in until 30st of april 2022 latest)
