Aims, contents and method of the course

Die LV stellt die für die Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie relevanten Ansätze rund um die Dekolonialisierung der anthropologischen Forschungspraxis in den Mittelpunkt. Dabei werden Ansätze wie jene der "Indigenous Methodologies" (z. B. Red Pedagogy, Borderland-Mestizaje Feminism, Indigenous Ethnography, Narrative Poetics, etc.) im Kontext der postmodernen Wende(n) vorgestellt und in die neuere Wissenschaftsgeschichte eingeordnet. Thematisiert werden dabei u.a. ontologische und epistemologische Positionen verschiedener, dekolonial forschender VertreterInnen, die Cultural Turns in den Kulturwissenschaften und ihre Bedeutung für die KSA sowie post-/dekoloniale Zugänge zur kritischen Bestandsaufnahme methodischen Vorgehens in der aktuellen, empirischen Wissenschaftspraxis.
