Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

On the basis of several major texts on Visual Culture, students will undertake a small research on the use of images.

Teaching methods:

- This is an interactive course: no lectures of the teacher, discussions on literature and the respective researches of particpating students;

- Writing a scholarly paper (3.000 to 4.000 words)

Assessment and permitted materials

The marking will be on the basis of:

1) collaboration during the seminar 20%

2) continuous working on the respective topic of research 20%

3) final presentation 20%

4) final paper of 3.000 to 4.000 words 40%

4.a) line of argument 30%

4.b) structure of the paper 30%

4.c) ethnography 20%

4.c) included literature 20%
