Aims, contents and method of the course

Im Rahmen des Seminars sollen die Studierenden unter Anleitung der Lehrenden sowie mit Peer-Feedback
• Ein umsetzbares Thema für eine Forschung im Hinblick auf die Masterarbeit entwickeln
• Eine Fragestellung erarbeiten, und ein Forschungsfeld sowie geeignete Methoden und relevante Literatur identifizieren
• Ein Forschungskonzept mit einem Zeit-und Forschungsplan erstellen und im Seminar vorstellen
Lernziel ist die erfolgreiche Erstellung eines Masterarbeitskonzeptes, das dann im Rahmen der Masterarbeitsforschung umgesetzt werden kann.

Assessment and permitted materials

Ein obligatorisches Forschungskonzept wird zu 50 % in die Note einfließen. Der Rest der Note wird durch kurze mündliche Präsentationen und schriftliche Aufgaben sowie durch die Teilnahme am Kurs bestimmt.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Vorstellung und Abfassung eines Masterarbeits-Forschungskonzeptes 50%
Mitarbeit 10%
Andere schriftliche Arbeiten 40%

Mindestanforderung ist die Einhaltung der Anwesenheitspflicht; weiters muss für jede einzelne beurteilungsrelevante Teilleistung mindestens die Hälfte der dafür vorgesehenen Punkteanzahl erreicht werden. Zwei entschuldigte Abwesenheiten sind zulässig.

Beurteilungskriterien sind
• die fristgerechte Erfüllung aller Teilleistungen,
• die Vollständigkeit, inhaltliche Qualität und formale Korrektheit der Teilleistungen.

Notenschlüssel:
91–100 Punkte = 1 (sehr gut)
81–90 Punkte = 2 (gut)
71–80 Punkte = 3 (befriedigend)
61–70 Punkte = 4 (genügend)
0–60 Punkte = 5 (nicht genügend)

Examination topics

Es wird keine Abschlussprüfungen geben, sondern fortlaufende schriftlich und mündlich zu bearbeitende Aufgabenstellungen.
