Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
The students will do a speaking test in Kelas Kongkow 1, in mid semester and final exam. The speaking skills result will be compiled with other language skills in B1’s class or B2’s class. There are some aspects that will be assessed in the speaking test; those are fluency; pronunciation and accent, vocabulary; grammar; and topic development.Reference Book

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Requirements for a positive grade:
1._Attendance: Full attendance or at least 75% attendance during the semester (max. 6 times absent or not attending the course).
2._The assessment will be graded from 1 to 5 which is: 1 is excellent, 2 is good, 3 is satisfactory, 4 is sufficient, and 5 is insufficient or failed.

In this class, students will learn to communicate using grammatical -lah, kah, pun, clitic -nya, me-i affixes meaning causative and locative, me-can affixes, se- affixes, conjunctions (then, when, before, not only, ), repetitions starting with ber- and ending with -an, passive active sentences, modality (will, later), ter- affixes, ke-an affixes, cause-and-effect conjunctions, majas, collocations, and idioms packed with topics that are currently being discussed in Indonesia such as issues related to healthy food, tourism, the environment, natural events, movies, fairy tales, or other current news.
