Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course is geared for students that are carrying out field research as well as for students that have started to write up their master thesis. The writing of the thesis stands at the heart of the course. Thereby, the current status of work of the single participants will form the basis on which to work on the texts. Constructed as an interactive workshop, the course combines intensive peer-feedback with individual support by the lecturer. Special support will be provided concerning the structure of the working process, the choice and implementation of methods, as well as the process of writing itself. Finally, the workshop should offer an informal setting to debate questions on organizational and methodological matters, as well as on personal uncertainties concerning the master thesis. The course addresses students writing their thesis in English or German.
