Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

See VO250009.

Assessment and permitted materials

'Checkmark exercises'. At least 70 percent of the examples published on https://homepage.univie.ac.at/christian.schmeiser/PDE.htm in the previous week must be ticked on moodle over the course of the semester for a positive completion of the exercise.
The exercises take place via a video-conference tool. During the exercises, the students must have an electronic copy of the ticked examples (e.g. a photo of the handwritten version) ready so that they can be presented via screen-sharing.
There will be an exercise test (approx. 1 hour) at the end of the course. The exact dates will be discussed or communicated during the course.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The final grade is based on the performance in the presentation of examples (60%) and the result of the tests (40%).

Examination topics

The material is given in a logbook (see https://homepage.univie.ac.at/christian.schmeiser/PDE.htm).

Reading list
