Aims, contents and method of the course

The course is a basic introduction to representation theory. The following topics will be covered:
1. Representations of finite groups
2. Representations of compact groups
3. Representations of Lie algebras
4. Representations of quivers
Prerequisites:
Linear algebra, algebra
