Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Mathematical language and way of thinking (proofs, notation, complete induction), elementary logic, basic set theory, basic algebraic structures, number ranges, plane and spatial analytical geometry.

Assessment and permitted materials

written examinations.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The deep gap between school mathematics and mathematics taught at universities should be overcome.

Examination topics

Lecture given in a classical way.
