Aims, contents and method of the course

Content:
Our objective in this course is to analyze educational articles about using technology to teach mathematics and to develop technology-based materials (primarily GeoGebra) which students will present in a 30-minute teaching sequence.

Aims:
Discussion of various aspects using technology in mathematics education. Developing skills in creating electronic teaching materials and using technological materials in practical teaching.

methods:
group work, study of literature, presentation, discussion

Assessment and permitted materials

The assessment is based on active attendance, uploaded materials, participation in the discussion, the presentation, and its documentation.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum requirements for a positive assessment:
-presentation
-documentation of the presentation and its conclusions
-uploading the technology-based materials
-regular active attendance and participation in the discussions

Examination topics

Preparation and presentation of a teaching performance based on the literature discussed. The development of technology-based teaching materials in small groups around predetermined themes and group discussions. Submission of a written summary of the results of the lesson sequence.
