Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This is a topics course on nonlinear partial differential equations of evolution type. It is organized in three blocks:
1) Evolution problems in metric spaces (U. Stefanelli)
2) Semilinear parabolic equations: deterministic and stochastic (L. Scarpa),
3) Nonlinear Schrödinger equations (G. Teschl)

Assessment and permitted materials

Written take-home exam on the contents of the course. Details in moodle.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The minimal requirement to pass the course is to be able to present and discuss the basic results of the course, including some relevant technical background and motivation.
