Aims, contents and method of the course
The course will provide basic mathematical topics for structured population models. The content of the course is represented by the following keywords: Leslie matrix, Usher matrix, Fibonacci's rabbits, Matrix population models, Nonnegative matrix, Perron-Frobenius theorem, Fundamental theorem of demography, Basic reproduction number, permanence, Average Lyapunov functions, Essentially nonnegative matrix, Epidemiological models.
