Aims, contents and method of the course
Modellierungsaufgaben in Mathematik. Bevor man Modellierungsaufgaben in der Schule unterrichtet, soll man natürlich selbst einmal Erfahrungen im Modellieren gesammelt haben. Dieses Seminar bietet eine Gelegenheit dazu.

Schriftliche Ausarbeitung der Lösung der Modellierungsaufgabe (in Gruppen), Vorträge, Teilnahme am Modellierungstag in einer Schule
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Die Studierenden sollen eigene Erfahrungen im selbständigen Modellieren sammeln, eine wichtige und notwendige Voraussetzung, selber Modellieren in der Schule später zu unterrichten. Auch erste Erfahrungen im Unterrichten von Modellierungsaufgaben sollen gemacht werden. Die Studierenden sollen einen Modellierungstag in einer Schule gestalten.
Examination topics
Die Studierenden sollen in Gruppen das ganze Semester an einer Modellierungsaufgabe arbeiten, in den Seminarsitzungen und auch außerhalb. In den Seminarsitzungen sollen die Gruppen immer wieder kurze Berichte geben (Stand der Dinge). Zum Schluss natürlich ein umfangreicher schriftlicher Bericht über den Verlauf im ganzen Semester und ein abschließender Vortrag pro Gruppe.

Aims, contents and method of the course
Following the course "School mathematics Analysis" in WS 2016/17, we will try to connect central concepts of calculus (limit, continuity, differentiability, integrability) with those from subject didactics (fundamental ideas, basic conceptions, basic competences). From these insights consequences should be drawn for calculus education (especially for preparation for the standardized written final examination). The book "Didactics of analysis. Aspects and basic ideas of central concepts" by Greefrath, G. et al. (published in 2016, see literature) is used as a basis.
Empirical results from original contributions to analysis teaching are also analyzed for the didactic penetration of the matter.

Presentation: content and performance; collaboration (including presence).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To get to know mathematics education as a research discipline and learning to derive practical use for the future teaching from theoretical concepts.
Examination topics
The participants present appropriate contributions of didactical literature. In case of a small number of participants it will be possible to prepare parts of the presentation during the seminar. So I immediately could give feedback to the students .

Aims, contents and method of the course
Im Seminar werden Video-Vignetten von Unterrichtsszenen analysiert. Das Ziel dieser Analyse ist die präzise Identifikation und fachliche Rekonstruktion des jeweiligen didaktischen Elements in der Szene, die Entwicklung didaktischer Handlungsalternativen sowie die genaue Beschreibung der Wirkung des didaktischen Handelns der studentischen Lehrperson. Anhand von Auswahlkriterien nach dem „Knowledge Quartet“ werden die didaktischen Elemente in den Video-Vignetten kodiert und kategorisiert.
