Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar deals with methodical and didactical aspects of teaching mathematics as well as with interaction between teacher and students. We will plan teaching units and discuss their suitability for classroom teaching.

Assessment and permitted materials

Work will include presenting the preparation of class room teaching in class and as a term paper.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Auseinandersetzen mit grundsätzlichen Überlegungen sowohl zur langfristigen Unterrichtsplanung als auch zur Planung konkreter Unterrichtseinheiten.

Examination topics

We will talk and discuss about the basics of planning teaching units. Students will be required to plan teaching units in team work and present them as a term paper.
