Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The goal of this course is to provide some functional analytic tools (in particular a simple form of Generalized Functions, based on time-frequency ideas) that allows to understand signal processing applications, interesting underlying mathematical questions (mostly in the field of harmonic analysis) and to give a background concerning numerical algorithms and their description. The course will lead participants towards recent research work performed within the group NuHAG (now Alserbachstr. 23, level 4)
