Aims, contents and method of the course

Within the project-seminar projects from Applied Mathematics and
Optimization
will be realized in team-work.
The PJ+SE is suitable for all students (diploma and teachers), who possess
basic knowledge in Numerical Analysis and basic skills with computers.
Special
knowlege about programming languages or mathematical programming systems are
not necessary, although Matlab skills might help.

Assessment and permitted materials

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The project seminar shall prepare students to plan and phase-out a project
with emphasis on mathematics and computer-science.
