Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course gives an overview of some modern methods in the theory of partial differential equations. We treat Sobolev spaces, tempered distributions, linear and nonlinear elliptic equations, calculus of variations, linear and nonlinear Schrödinger equations, Klainerman's vector field method, the bootstrap principle, blowup, and Sobolev spaces on domains.
Assessment and permitted materials
The exam will be oral and digital. Individual dates can be arranged by e-mail.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The ability to reproduce the main arguments treated in the course.
