Review of the monographs of Thomas S. Kuhn und Imre Lakatos quoted below and discussion of related questions

Assessment and permitted materials

Presenting a section of one of the books in a lecture of 90 minutes, in teams of two students each meeting; participating in discussions

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Introducing students into basic questions of philosophy of science and mathematics, on the basis of the volumes mentioned below. Participants will be encouraged to relate their own experiences and attitudes acquired during thir studies to the problems treated in these books.
