will be offered. Within certain constraints, topics freely chosen by students can be pursued.Possible topics:
* PDEs in astro / quantum - physics, engineering, biology, social sciences, economy, finance, etc.;
* ordinary or partial differential equations, e.g., Schrödinger / wave type equations, Vlasov & Boltzmann equations, fluid dynamic equations.At least two of the following aspects should be covered: modeling, analysis, numerical methods, computer simulations.Each student develops a selected topic for an oral presentation and a written report, under the guidance of one (or two) of the professors but otherwise independently.
