Aims, contents and method of the course

Theory of quadratic forms over Dedekind rings, corresponding theory of the arithmetic of algebraic groups over number fields, approximation results for algebraic groups

Prerequisites:Solid knowledge in algebra, algebraic number theory, algebraic groups

Assessment and permitted materials

talk, regular participation in the discussion of the results and methods presented in the seminar

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

work on research topics in the arithmetic theory of algebraic groups

Examination topics
