Aims, contents and method of the course
Some special topics concerning probability theory and statistics should be studied.
Assessment and permitted materials
Für ein positives Zeugnis über diese LV muss jede/r Teilnehmer/in einen Seminartermin mit einem Vortrag gestalten, eine ausgearbeitete Seminararbeit abgeben und aktiv an den an die Vorträge anschließenden Diskussionen teilnehmen.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Deeper knowledge in some special topics of probability theory and statistics.
Examination topics
Every participant should give a talk (90 minutes) to a special topic and elaborate an associated paper. Furthermore every participant should join the discussions actively.
