We want to look more closely at the Galois group of a number fields and some of its properties. The Galois groups of number fields can be connected to quite different objects from analysis, geometry and algebra. Accordingly there are many different methods to study their properties. In the course we want to deal with some aspects of such Galois groups and
look at some methods for their study. We will select the topics of course depending on knowledge of the participants during the first lecture on 7.3.
