Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

lgebraic Geometry from Symplectic point of view. In this course we will look at some elementary notions of algebraic Geometry from Symplectic point of view. We will start with elementary symplectic Geometry
- see the book of Stipschitz, Gompf. After that we will recall some elementary notions from Algebraic Geometry Riemann Roch for curves and surfaces - see Hartshorn. We will reprove some algebraic geometric results Riemann - Roch, some cases of the Bloch conjecture from symplectic point of view. Some research problems will be outlined.
The course is based on examples and requires a presentation at the end.
It will run in connection with the GAGA seminar. Some basic knowledge of algebra and topology will be useful.
