Aims, contents and method of the course

Mathematical modelling in practise. We are also going to do a modelling day at a school.

Assessment and permitted materials

Abgabe einer Seminararbeit, Teilnahme am Modellierungstag an der Schule

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students should make own experiences in modelling and also first experiences in teaching modelling.

Examination topics

Students work in groups on a mathematical modelling problem. Smaller talks during the courses every week. Every group should give one longer talk at the end of the semester and work out a written version.
