Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Active contribution in the form of written material (few pages) PLUS some oral presentation. Joint presentations in small groups (of 2-4 participants) are very much encouraged, as long as "every participant" is contributing in each category (not ONE doing the oral part, the other the typing, etc.)

Examination topics
Presentation of examples, direct involvement of participants, preparation of material, e.g. using a beamer or just black-board, group discussion end so on.
Reading list
will be provide some literature (how to find vobabulary, books to take home or read on the train) during the course. SOME material is available already now in the liberary in Alserbachstr. 23 (NuHAG), level 4.

We will also discuss question that should help to study abroad (e.g. via ERASMUS or in the USA), how to write papers (conf. contributions, a master thesis or PhD thesis in English), how to make applications for (international) research positions etc.
