Every second week during term, Friday 9:00am - 1:00pm, seminar room, 9th floor, mathematics department. First meeting Friday, October 15th. Interested students, please send email to Joachim Hermisson (biomath PhD students and students working on a Master thesis are assumed to be in the course by default).
Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Advanced seminar and journal club in biomathematics, focussing on population genetics and mathematical epidemiology. Each meeting will consist of two parts. The first part is devoted to discussion of relevant research literature ("journal club"), the second part to the presentation and discussion of ongoing research in Master and PhD theses.

Seminar talks.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Course for advanced students, who have already some basic knowledge of mathematical biology. Grades are based on the presentation of a research paper or of independent research.
