semester introduces the students to the abstract way of thinking and the
standard terminology of university mathematics. Moreover, basic concepts
like elementary logic, methods of proof as well as sets of numbers and
algebraic structures which are used in the introductory courses
Analysis1 and Linear Algebra 1 are presented. Hence this course is
intended to bridge the gap between highschool and university mathematics.
