Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Students are taught the algebraic point of view of the theory of linear
spaces
and of some fundamental concepts of analytic and projective geometry.

Assessment and permitted materials

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students should be enabled to find simple proofs of Linear Algebra and
Geometry and to work on scientific literature on this theme.

Examination topics

The course is outlined for beginners. Students are expected to learn the
algebraic and geometric point of view of mathematics, analytic
applications included. Consequently the methods of this course are taken
from algebra and to a somewhat smaller extent from geometry.
