Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar deals with methodical and didactical aspects of teaching mathematics as well as with interaction between teacher and students. We will plan teaching units and discuss their suitability for classroom teaching. Depending on the number of students classroom teaching will be part of the seminar.

Examination topics

We will talk and discuss about the basics of planning teaching units. Students will be required to plan teaching units in team work and present
them as a term paper. Work will include either class room teaching or presenting its preparation
in class.
