Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In this course students should try out different possibilities of using ICT in teaching mathematics. Several topics and possible software products are provided or can be freely chosen by the students. The students should prepare teaching units with the chosen topic, using ICT in an interactive way (i.e. also the pupils are expected to work with ICT). The presenting student is going to have the role of the teacher, while the other students are the "school class". A suitable teaching method has to be chosen by the student.
Assessment and permitted materials
Presentation, presence, active participation in the discussions, written preparations for teaching units.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Learning about and trying out several ICT products in a teaching situation, aquiring competences to choose fitting teaching methods to given topics.
Examination topics
Presentations of students, discussion.
