Aims, contents and method of the course
Basic notions for continuous and discrete dynamical systems; stability of stationary points by linearization and by Lyapunov functions, gradient systems, Hamiltonian systems, Poincaré-Bendixson theory, invariant manifolds, Hartman-Grobman theorem, bifurcations, Poincaré normal form, iteration of maps (interval, circle), Sharkovski's theorem, structural stability
Assessment and permitted materials
written or oral exam (probably via internet, e.g. using jitsi)It is highly recommended to attend the Proseminar and solve the homework problems.
