Aims, contents and method of the course
Lecture course aiming at familiarity with basics of the broad classification of Lie algebras (solvable vs. semisimple, etc.) as well as the structure theory and representation theory of complex semisimple Lie algebras (roots, weights, etc.)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Familiarity with the structure theory and the basics of representation theory
of complex semisimple Lie algebras, knowledge of the necessary background.
