Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Together with the participants of the seminar we want to discuss and present selected topics from the representation theory of finite groups. Possible topics include - Hecke algebra of induced representations, l-adic representations and elliptic curves, Schur functors and representations of the symmetric group, Correspondences for characters, applications to group theory. We welcome suggestions by the participants. It would be ideal if the participant had a basic knowledge of representation theory of finite groups.
