Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
These are the tutorials for the lecture course "Advanced functional analysis". The students are expected to solve exercises at home and present them during the seminar, at the instructor's request. Some solutions must also be handed in in writing (through the Moodle website). The list of exercises will be provided via the Moodle page of the course.A main objective of the course is to help the students understand the main lecture, and the exercises are chosen with this goal in mind. That is why it is strongly recommended that the students solve all the exercises.
Assessment and permitted materials
The grade is determined by the number of exercises solved, the number and quality of board presentations, and the written exercises. The maximal grade requires solving 80% of the exercises. In this way, a student can miss some assignments without impacting the final grade.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
A minimum of 60% of the assigned problems and written assignments, and two satisfactory presentations.
