Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Aim: To develop basic ideas about central concepts of analysis and to make them effective in the classroom through targeted interventions.Content: Analysis lessons are determined by many concepts. These include, for example, the conception of function, derivative or integral. The aim of the lesson is therefore to develop a basic understanding of these terms. This means for instance that appropriate basic ideas regarding the concepts must be built up. This should be an overarching goal of the seminar. We will address various terms and approaches to teaching calculus content, discuss them and focus on them from a didactical perspective.Method: Preparation of individual sections also under the guidance of the teacher, presentation in plenary, discussion and reflection on certain topics in groups and in plenary. Depending on the possibilities, the seminar takes place online or as a face-to-face event.
Assessment and permitted materials
Oral: Assessment of the seminar lectures and the contributions to the discussions in the seminar sessions.Presentation documents, subject didactic texts.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Presentation: Content and Performance; Collaboration (including attendance). The lecture mainly determines the assessment. If the result is not clear, the participation will be used in the discussions of the presentations of other participants.Compulsory attendance.
Examination topics
