In this seminar we focus on mathematical analysis as well as modeling with (partial) differential equations.
The whole variety of state-of-the-art techniques of (P)DE analysis is available.
Topics are offered; within certain restrictions, also topics freely selected by students can be treated.LV-Inhalt-"contence"
Possible topics:
.) ordinary or partial differential equations.
e.g. Schrödinger equation, wave equation Boltzmann equation, Dirac equation, fluid dynamic equations,
.) PDEs in (quantum) physics, mechanics, engineering, biology, social sciences, economy, finance, ...Focus on analysis and/or modeling and/or numerics.
