Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Ability to solve mathematical problems, knowledge in applied mathematics, differential equations and numerical mathematics.

Contents of the course: error analysis, numerical solution of algebraic linear systems, numerical solution of nonlinear equations, ordinary differential equations: theory and numerical methods, applications in population dynamics and epidemiology.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written final exam. Only non-programmable calculators are allowed.

Positive grade in the written final exam
