Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture course is concerned with mathematical methods and algorithms which are basic for computer aided design. The main focus will be on one- and multidimensional interpolation, Bernstein Polynomials, B-Splines,
> Bezier and B-Spline curves, Bezier and B-Spline patches, radial basis functions, blending functions, triangulations in two and more dimensions, Voronoi diagrams, as well as an introduction to ray tracing.
