Aims, contents and method of the course

This weekly seminar is devoted to current research related to the Initiativkolleg on Modern Mathematical Analysis and Applications -Time-frequency analysis and microlocal analysis (http://www.univie.ac.at/nuhag-php/ik/ <http://www.univie.ac.at/nuhag-php/ik> ). The range of topics includes the following areas of mathematical research: generalized functions and distribution theory, time-frequency methods, partial differential equations, microlocal analysis and regularity theory, pseudodifferential operators, sampling theory.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

For successful completion of the seminar the participants are required either to give a presentation in the seminar or to demonstrate sufficient progress of their Ph.D. thesis
