Materials will be provided during the course. Recommended is Visser’s annotated European Patent Convention, 2019 (ISBN 978-94-035-1884-8) or 2020 (if available) edition.

Contents: Various aspects of the European and International Patent Law including substantive patent criteria and procedural law will be discussed, packed up in exercises and applied in case studies. Indeed, the practical application of patenting is a hallmark of this course.
Method: Lecture, exercises, case studies and discussion
