Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This practical module focuses on important practical aspects of strengthening and implementing human rights. To this end, students are introduced to the key principles and methods of human rights advocacy, the implementation of a human rights policy for the realization of human rights in the financial industry, and the basic features of project management, including theory of change. In addition, students are familiarized with the basics of designing effective campaigns and how to address human rights in a scientific way. Finally, critical aspects of self-care in the context of working as a human rights defender, including secondary trauma or resilience, are addressed in this course.
