Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture deals with the main features of the functioning of the protection mechanism of the European Convention on Human Rights: short historical overview of the organisation of the ECtHR; judicial formations; types of procedure and, in particular, admissibility criteria.
Furthermore, we will then examine how to apply the admissibility criteria of the ECHR in the context of applications to the European Court of Human Rights.
